General
Information
We enable the average consumer
access to "B" grade and factory seconds of polyurethane
insulation boards direct from the major European
manufacturers, thus making it cheaper for them to buy
this usually expensive product.
To
achieve the ever increasing insulation values that are
required for modern homes more and more polyurethane
boards are being used. With their ease of installation
and flexibility of application, i.e. floors, walls,
roofs, cavities etc, they are by far the simplest
solution to energy efficiency.
Common Questions
And Answers
Q. Why are our boards
classed as seconds? A. Some boards may have
facial defects or folds in the foil on class "O" faces
and there may be slight imperfections on the edge of
some boards. Other boards may be non standard sizes, for
example 1000mm wide not 1200mm.
Q. How do I
cut the polyurethane boards? A. The boards cut
easily with a sharp, fine-toothed saw.
Q. How
is the cost of the boards calculated? A. We sell
the polyurethane according to the board size and
thickness in millimetres, therefore the thicker the
board the more expensive it becomes, as the insulation
value increases.
Q. Is there a delivery
charge? A. The simple answer is yes but we take
every sale on its own merit and you may find that
nothing is charged on quantity orders. To this end we
always tell our customers to amalgamate their
requirements on purchase to ensure the lowest charge or
indeed free delivery.
Q. What types of payment
do you take? A. All major credit/debit cards,
cheques and cash.
Q. What are the advantages
of polyurethane over other insulates? A.
polyurethane is renown for its high insulation value
allowing the minimum thickness to be used whilst still
achieving exceptional performance. It is also clean to
handle, light weight and almost impervious to the
elements.
Q. What happens if you don't have
enough seconds to fulfil our order? A. We can
always supply you with new boards.
